To race or not to race. That is the question.

Rotax, IKC EPIC and other championships. We handle entries, transport, mechanics, tyres and trackside support. You handle the driving.

What we do

A race weekend has a hundred things. We take care of ninety-nine.

01

Entries

Championships, licences, deadlines and technical regulations.

02

Transport

Kart, parts and tools to the paddock and back.

03

Mechanics

Preparation, setup and repairs throughout the weekend.

04

Tyres

Managing new and used sets, pressures per session.

05

Trackside

Awning, grid preparation and support through every session.

06

Data

Telemetry and video from every session, reviewed before the next.

How we see racing

It is not the top of the ladder.

Racing is available to anyone who wants it, and it is not the goal the rest of DRRH points at. Many of our drivers will never race and have used the academy completely. Those who race do it with the same method: data, repetition and physical preparation.

Preparing to race

A more demanding level.

In the Racing Operations Team, the driver steps up to a more demanding level of development, moving on from someone still learning to a more technical, strategic and performance-focused approach. With the fundamentals in place from the initiation phase, the focus now shifts to refining individual skills and to a deeper understanding of driving in a competitive context.

A more technical, strategic and performance-focused approach.
The fundamentals: initiation in the Driver Training System

On track

Finding the limit.

At this stage, the Racing Operations Team provides more intensive, personalised training, matched to each driver’s level. Track work becomes more detailed, with particular attention to ideal lines, braking points, progressive throttle and managing the kart’s balance. The driver learns to explore the limits of grip, to understand how small corrections affect lap time and to build consistency at a higher pace.

Setup

Understanding the kart.

The technical side also gains weight. Drivers get their first contact with the basics of kart setup, such as tyre pressures, chassis behaviour and adapting to track conditions. This knowledge lets them not only drive better, but also read how the kart is behaving and communicate more effectively with coaches and technical teams.

Strategy

Reading the race.

Another essential part of this phase is developing the strategic side. The driver starts to understand concepts such as race management, overtaking, defending position and reading opponents. Specific exercises, race simulations and group sessions are key to working on these skills in a realistic setting.

Physical and mental preparation

Split-second decisions.

Focus, emotional control, resilience.

Physical and mental preparation also become more structured. The Racing Operations Team encourages physical training routines suited to karting, as well as work on focus, emotional control and resilience. At this stage the driver is already under more pressure and learns to deal with mistakes, frustration and split-second decisions.

Objectives

Six objectives.

In terms of objectives, this phase makes sure the driver:

  1. 01Refines driving technique and lowers lap times consistently
  2. 02Understands and applies the basics of kart setup
  3. 03Develops racecraft in a group (overtaking, defending, positioning)
  4. 04Improves physical preparation and endurance on track
  5. 05Strengthens the mental side, including focus and handling pressure
  6. 06Takes a more analytical and strategic approach to driving

The bridge

Between learning and racing.

This phase is an essential bridge between learning and formal competition. By consolidating technical, physical and mental skills, the driver is ready to take the next step, racing in championships, with solid foundations and a greater ability to adapt to the demands of competitive karting.

How it works

  1. 1

    Call

30 minutes to understand the driver, the kart and the goals.

  2. 2

    Proposal

Calendar, logistics and budget per race or per season.

  3. 3

    Preparation

Testing, base setup and a physical plan before the first race.

  4. 4

    On track

    We handle the rest.

A racing season has real costs: entries, new tyres, engine rebuilds, travel. On the call we talk actual numbers, before you commit.
