Manifesto

We are karting.

We do not sell the promise of Formula One, because for almost everyone it is not true. Karting is a complete discipline. That is enough.

You come for the speed and stay for the rest: eating well, sleeping well, getting fit, learning with a method and feeling the track 60 cm off the ground. Whether you are 5 or 55.

Data, data, data

No guesswork. Evidence.

Every kart we run carries telemetry (Alfano, MyChron and the like). Times, video, telemetry and your own reference lap decide what changes next. The delta is the only opponent that never flatters you.

Alfano ADA · macOSWe ported Alfano ADA to the Mac. Any driver can read their own data at home, on macOS or Windows.

The driver is an athlete

Looks like a game. It is a real sport.

A kart race is decided in the second half, and the second half is physical. No power steering, no suspension, and in every corner lateral forces pull your head and helmet outwards.

01Neck
Holding head and helmet against nearly 2 g of lateral force, corner after corner.
02Core and arms
No power steering, no suspension. Your body is part of the chassis.
03Heart
Heart rates recorded up to ≈190 bpm in races.
04Heat
Suit, gloves and helmet in a Portuguese summer. Hydrating is training too.
05Head
Split-second decisions, session after session, as fatigue builds.

From age 4, with no upper limit. Those who arrive late usually arrive with more discipline than those who arrived early.

Who checks the karts

Rui Filipe Taipas

Director of Coaching and Engineering

Every kart that goes on track passes through his hands: chassis alignment, engine, brakes. The second-hand karts we offer leave the workshop as good as new, or they do not leave.
